Classes & Bird University

Birds Connect Seattle offers a variety of classes on birding and natural history are taught throughout the year by qualified instructors who are experts in their respective fields. Find a class or course.

Youth Programs & Activities

Birds Connect Seattle offers a variety of activities for our youngest bird enthusiasts, all year round including school visits, field trips, summer camp, and a teen group. Explore youth offerings. 

Conservation Reading Group

Our Conservation Committee invites you to read and learn with us so that we may become better advocates for birds and nature. See what we’re ready and join the discussion.

Presentation and Private Event Requests

We make special presentations and tailored content just for your group. Learn more about requesting a speaker, table presence, or private presentation for your company, club, classroom, community event, or scout troop.

You can also visit us at our headquarters! We welcome groups of all ages to schedule class field trips, special tours, presentations, team building opportunities, and more. Submit your on-site programming request.

Library

Our library is home to more than 500 books about birds, local and international birding locations, bird behavior, and other Washington nature, such as trees, plants, and wildlife. Books from the library are free for members of Birds Connect Seattle to check out and take home. The public is welcome to browse our collection books on-site. Explore our book collection.
